Fire Suppression and Water Detection Maintenance

Our engineers will be onsite to inspect and service the fire suppression and water detection systems that protects our data centres. The systems will be placed in manual operation during the test. This forms part of our preventive maintenance schedule and we anticipate no issues or risks.

Network Maintenance - 11 December 2018

As part of our continual improvement plan, we are performing the following planned network at our London Telehouse PoP.

Anticipated impact

Traffic will be redirected via our Manchester PoP during the maintenance. Customers may see a brief period of increased latency or change in traffic paths while the network converges.

CWCS Core Network – Provider Maintenance 12 December to 13 December

One of our backhaul providers have advised that they will be performing essential engineering works on their fibre network between Peterborough and Cambridge on 12 and 13 December 2018.

Start: 23:00 12 Dec 2018

Finish: 06:00 13 Dec 2018

Anticipated impact

The work is anticipated to have minimal impact to our backhaul capacity. We will redirect traffic around the affected link for the duration of the maintenance, so we anticipate the risk to customer traffic to be minimal.

CWCS Change Freeze

We will operate a change freeze from Friday, 14 December 2018 through to Friday, 4 January 2019.

During this period, non-essential engineering works to our core network or data centre infrastructure will not be scheduled.

We will maintain our normal technical support coverage over the Christmas and New Year period.
