At 18:09 BST our monitoring systems alerted us to an Distributed Denial of Service attack on a customer at DCN1. This caused congestion on our core LAN which may have temporarily affected some customers at DCN1. We invoked DDoS mitigation for the affected subnet and this returned traffic levels to normal by 18:17 BST.
